Shift: Day

Hours: 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Pay: $90,000 - $105,000

Job Summary:

Assists in planning, scheduling, and supervising all repair work of building and grounds. Ensures that all jobs are completed safely and efficiently. Directly supervises all personnel assigned to projects and work orders. Conducts routine spot checks as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage department resources to assure the facility is supported in accordance with regulatory agencies, TJC, and policies and procedures of the organization
  • Periodically inspect boilers, motors, pumps, generators, and other essential equipment
  • Ensure all log books, records, and other data relating to department activities are maintained and current
  • Set priorities for work orders and coordinate maintenance activities
  • Manage and train staff in the general maintenance of grounds, buildings, infrastructure, and equipment
  • Inspect work areas periodically to ensure safety regulations are met

Requirements:

  • 3 Years Construction, Facilities, and/or Hospital Facilities experience
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local Fire Safety, JCAHO Building Code & Regulations, OSHA and DOH Life Safety
  • Knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing
  • 3-5 Years maintenance supervision, preferably in a Union environment
  • High School diploma required, Associate's Degree preferred
