Practice Manager - Ambulatory #15

Type: Full-Time (75 hours biweekly)

Shift: Days

Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Pay: $95,000 - $110,000

Job Summary:

The Practice Manager is responsible for managing the work of all non-clinical team members to ensure service delivery in practice and all operational aspects within a specified practice(s) to achieve excellent patient experience, quality, cost, and delivery performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures smooth daily operations and steady progress towards established clinic goals. This includes promoting positive patient experiences, reviews, team members job satisfaction, workplace efficiency, shorter wait times, and completion of tasks.
  • Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures
  • Responsible for hiring, evaluating, and training/mentoring staff. Provide support and direction to enhance performance, skills, and knowledge of practice team within the practice(s). This includes ensuring employees receive proper on boarding, training, and monitoring of each team member s performance.
  • Communicates and partners with facility staff to improve system-wide performance
  • Tracks, monitors and manages all registration errors and discuss with team members.
  • Creates, edits and manages physician schedules, optimizing patient scheduling and minimizing no-show rates and in accordance to annual budget.
  • Troubleshoots problems such as non-working equipment, patient complaints, inefficiencies, workplace conflicts, and other items that may disrupt operations.
  • Oversees and tracks all inventory and supplies for practice. Manage relationships with vendors.
  • Understands and works toward meeting current regulatory and Quality standards, including but not limited to the Joint Commission, PCMH, Department of Health, etc.
  • Marketing- conducting patient surveys, creating growth plans, planning for scale, and promoting a successful practice.
  • Coordinates regular team meetings and send re caps to the team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred
  • Prior experience managing a practice within a Healthcare System
  • High level of knowledge of, and experience with, relevant regulations to ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies and ability to pass inspections (i.e. Joint Commission, DOH, etc.)
  • Experience with Meditech and Athena
  • Ability to audit clinic activities and create efficiencies
