Client Service Agent I - Temporary - Call Center #1

Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Pay: $25.81 - $27.16 per hour

Job Description:

Call Center Customer Service Agents are the first point of contact new patients and existing patients have with our practice. As first impressions are lasting impressions, it is vital that all patient interactions with Call Center Agents be energetic, exude positivity, and represent our practice and clinics.

Call Center Agents are responsible for managing patient calls with the highest level of customer service, registration, scheduling patient appointments in Athena/Meditech practice management system, and providing patients with all appointment relevant information.

Responsibilities:

  • Correctly schedule appointments for patients to ensure providers are busy and productive within all locations
  • Handle incoming calls
  • Contact patients who need to cancel appointments and help them reschedule
  • Provide patients with all pre-appointment information needed

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or Equivalency required, Associate's Degree preferred
  • CMOA, MOA, EMT strongly preferred
  • Minimum 2 years working in a physician practice scheduling appointments and working with medical records
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish/Creole) preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
