Non-Invasive Cardiologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our growing cardiology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and possess expertise in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular diseases using non-invasive techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and manage patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and arrhythmias.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms (including transesophageal echocardiograms), stress tests (exercise and pharmacological), electrocardiograms (EKGs), and Holter monitoring.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and referrals for further interventions when necessary.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, technicians, and other physicians, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about their cardiovascular conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in non-invasive cardiology through continuing medical education and participation in research activities.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives as needed.
  • Evaluate and manage patients on the inpatient and outpatient services

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine.
  • Completion of an accredited fellowship program in Cardiology.
  • Board certification in Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM).
  • Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in the state of [State Name].
  • Proficiency in performing and interpreting non-invasive cardiac diagnostic tests.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.
