Coordinator - Volunteer Services #3

Type: Full-Time (75 hours biweekly)

Shift: Days

Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Pay: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

Job Summary:

The Volunteer Services Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Volunteer Services Manager with coordinating the daily operations of the EHS Volunteer Program. This position is vital to ensure that volunteers and interns are successfully on boarded and integrated into our organization. By doing so, we can enhance our service delivery and create a more positive experience for patients, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serves as assistant to the Volunteer Services Manager with performing administrative functions as required, and handling all confidential correspondence
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding of volunteers and interns
  • Work closely with the People Operations, Employee Health Departments to assist with the onboarding of volunteers and interns
  • Maintains confidential files on volunteers and interns
  • Prepares weekly status reports on volunteers and interns
  • Maintain accurate records of volunteer hours, activities, and assigned areas
  • Acts as liaison for the department
  • Assist with and attend EHS offsite events

Community Outreach:

  • Build relationships with Community Based Organizations, schools, and local businesses to promote the volunteer program and foster partnerships
  • Coordinate community presentations and outreach to raise awareness of volunteer opportunities and the impact of volunteerism in healthcare.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or Equivalency required; Associates degree preferred
  • 3 - 5 years administrative experience required
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and Google Suites/ Proficient in Excel
  • Jot forms preferred
  • Ability to take meeting minutes and type proficiently
  • Bilingual preferred/Spanish
