Hours: 8:30AM - 5:00PM

Pay: $55,000 - $62,000

Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant supports the departments of Care Management, Social Work, and Population Health. The workload involves clerical and secretarial duties with frequent interaction with the professional and administrative staff of the hospital. He/she ensures that all reports are submitted and all meetings are arranged in a timely basis, and has the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains good departmental relations with doctors, Social Workers, and Patient Service Representatives ensuring staff needs, patient needs, departmental needs and hospital needs are met.
  • Take minutes of meetings, ensuring appropriate documentation of all activities
  • Gathers and assembles data for special projects relative to administrative activities
  • Schedules appointments and keeps calendar for the AVP Integrated Case Management and Population Health
  • Performs typing and filing duties
  • Generates purchase requisitions for office supplies and materials.
  • Answers telephones, screens calls, and records accurate messages

Requirements/Skills:

  • High School diploma or Equivalent required, Associates degree preferred
  • 2-3 years experience working in an acute care facility in an Administrative/Secretarial capacity
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer relations skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
